Operationalizing Security Bridging the divide between corporate security needs and IT operations
Description: Can organizations bridge the gap between their security needs and day-to-day operations of the IT department? When it comes to security, there is a disconnect between a corporation's business drivers and the capability and capacity of its IT operations to achieve and maintain compliance with internal policies or regulatory audits. The corporation is focused on drives such as protecting the corporate brand while IT operations are focused on managing a higher number of remote systems. This keynote address focuses on the business drivers and how corporations that operationalize security can achieve their security objectives without impacting business productivity or destroying the bottom line by adding an army of IT administrators.
Keynote Speaker: Chris Schwartzbauer, Shavlik
